Lionel Messi Gets His iPhone XS Max Covered in 24 Carat Gold

Barcelona legend ​Lionel Messi is currently the proud owner of an iPhone XS Max which is bathed in 24 carat gold and is created by iDesign Gold.

The Argentinean maestro also has his name and number inscribed on the back, as well as the names of his wife and children. The Barcelona crest and Argentina national team badge also feature on the back of the device.

Below his name and jersey number engraved in gold, there are four names mentioned of his wife and kids, Antonella, Thiago, Ciro and Mateo at the bottom of the phone's back-cover.

However, Messi is not the only footballer to have engraved his name in gold behind his phone. His Barcelona teammate Ivan Rakitic also boasts a similar iPhone with his name and jersey number. Brazilian midfielder Paulinho and English rapper Bugsy Malone are the only other personalities to have engraved their name in gold on the back of their phones.

The price of this phone made by Messi is estimated to be around $21,050 or €18,500.
